Privacy Policy

Effective as of October 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Ramble Labs, Inc. (“Ramble Labs,” “we,” “us” or “our”) processes personal information that we collect through Dial: the website at dial.day and app.dial.day, any Dial mobile application we make available, and the related services, marketing activities and other activities described in this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”). Ramble Labs may provide additional or supplemental privacy policies to individuals for specific products or services that we offer at the time we collect personal information.

What Dial does with your data, in short

Personal information we collect

Information you provide to us or that we may generate about you. Personal information you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise or that we may generate about you includes:

Third-party sources. We may receive personal information from third-party services that you use to log into, or otherwise link to, your Service account, such as Google. This data may include your name, email address, profile picture and other information associated with your account on that third-party service that is made available to us based on your account settings on that service.

Automatic data collection. We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with the Service, such as:

Cookies and similar technologies. Some of the automatic collection described above is facilitated by cookies, which are small text files that websites store on user devices. The Service uses a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie to remember your display preferences, and our analytics provider may set its own first-party cookies or use local storage to recognize returning visitors. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Calendar data from Google

When you connect a Google account, you grant Dial permission to see your calendars and to view and edit events on them. Dial uses this access only to show your events alongside your plans and health data, to create, update and delete events when you ask it to, and to let you respond to invitations. Events are fetched from Google when you view them and are not stored in our database, except that a copy of an event Dial created or edited (its identifier, title, times and details as returned by Google) is recorded so it can be recognized later. Access and refresh tokens for your Google account are stored encrypted at rest so Dial can keep reading your calendar between visits; you can revoke them at any time by disconnecting the account in Dial’s settings or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Dial’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide or improve user-facing features of the Service, for security, or to comply with law.

Health data

Health data reaches Dial only if you grant the Dial app access to a health platform on your device. We use it solely to display and summarize your activity and rest in the Service. We do not use health data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the service providers that host the Service on our behalf. Where health data comes from Apple Health, we also comply with Apple’s requirements for apps that use HealthKit. You can stop sharing at any time in your device’s settings; samples already stored are deleted when you delete your account.

How we use your personal information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes or as otherwise described at the time of collection:

Service delivery and operations. We may use your personal information to: provide, operate and improve the Service and our business; draw your day, week, month and year from your calendars, plans and health data; create and change events in your connected calendars at your direction; personalize the Service, including remembering your selections and preferences as you navigate the Service; establish and maintain your account on the Service; enable security features of the Service, such as by sending you sign-in codes via email; communicate with you about the Service, including by sending Service-related announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages; and provide support for the Service, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback.

Research and development. We may use your personal information for research and development purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and our business and to develop new products and services. We do not use calendar data or health data for this purpose except in aggregated or de-identified form.

Marketing. We may send you communications about Dial, such as news about new features, and may personalize these messages based on your use of the Service. You may opt out of our marketing communications as described in the “Your choices” section below. We do not use calendar data or health data to select or target marketing.

Service improvement and analytics. We may use your personal information to analyze your usage of the Service, improve the Service, help us understand user activity on the Service, including which screens are most and least visited and how visitors move around the Service, and to develop new products and services.

Compliance and protection. We may use your personal information to: comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas, investigations or requests from government authorities; protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims); audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies; enforce the terms and conditions that govern the Service; and prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.

With your consent. In some cases, we may specifically ask for your consent to collect, use or share your personal information, such as when required by law.

To create aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data. We may create aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data from your personal information and other individuals whose personal information we collect. We make personal information into de-identified and/or anonymized data by removing information that makes the data identifiable to you. We may use this aggregated, de-identified and/or anonymized data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and promote our business.

Cookies and similar technologies. In addition to the other uses included in this section, we may use the cookies and similar technologies described above for the technical operation of the Service, such as remembering your preferences and whether you are logged in, and for analytics, to help us understand user activity on the Service. We use PostHog for analytics; see “Your choices” for how to limit it.

Retention

We generally retain personal information to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, to establish or defend legal claims, or for fraud prevention purposes. Sign-in codes expire after fifteen minutes and sessions after one year. Calendar events fetched from Google are held only in memory while your page is drawn. Planning data and health samples are kept for as long as your account exists. When we no longer require the personal information we have collected about you, we may either delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it from further processing. Database backups are retained for a limited period after deletion.

How we share your personal information

We may share your personal information with the following parties and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, in other applicable notices, or at the time of collection.

Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business. Today these are Google Cloud (hosting and database), Postmark (delivery of sign-in and service emails) and PostHog (product analytics). Service providers may use personal information only to provide their services to us.

Third parties designated by you. We may share your personal information with third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so. For example, when you create or change an event in Dial on a connected Google calendar, that event, including its title, time and any attendees you add, is sent to Google and may be visible to those attendees.

Linked third-party services. If you link your Service account to a third-party service such as Google, the third party’s use of the shared information will be governed by its privacy policy and the settings associated with your account with the third-party service.

Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.

Business transferees. We may disclose personal information in the context of actual or prospective business transactions (e.g., investments in or financings of Ramble Labs, public stock offerings, or the sale, transfer or merger of all or part of our business, assets or shares), for example, we may need to share certain personal information with prospective counterparties and their advisers. We may also disclose your personal information to an acquirer, successor, or assignee of Ramble Labs as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, and/or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets. Google user data and health data would remain subject to the limits described in this Privacy Policy after any such transfer.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices

Access or update your information. If you have registered for an account with us through the Service, you may review and update your plans, habits and settings by logging into the account.

Disconnect a calendar or health platform. You can disconnect a Google account in Dial’s settings, which deletes the stored tokens for it, or revoke Dial’s access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can stop sharing health data in your device’s health settings.

Opt out of communications. You may opt out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us. Please note that if you choose to opt out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails such as sign-in codes.

Analytics. You can limit analytics by blocking cookies and local storage for the Service in your browser, or by using a content blocker that blocks PostHog. The Service will keep working without analytics.

Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to the Service. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

Do Not Track. Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. To find out more about “Do Not Track,” please visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com.

Declining to provide information. We need to collect personal information to provide certain services. If you do not provide the information we identify as required or mandatory, we may not be able to provide those services.

Delete your content or close your account. You can delete plans and notes and archive habits through your account. To close your account and delete the personal information associated with it, email us at hello@ramble.co from the address you sign in with; we will complete the deletion within thirty days and confirm by email.

Other sites and services

The Service may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties. These links and integrations are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control websites, mobile applications or online services operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites, mobile applications and online services you use.

Security

We employ a number of technical, organizational and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect, including encryption in transit and at rest, access tokens for connected accounts stored in a managed database, and sign-in by one-time code rather than password. However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

International data transfer

We are headquartered in the United States and may use service providers that operate in other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to the United States or other locations where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your state, province, or country.

Children

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian of a child from whom you believe we have collected personal information in a manner prohibited by law, please contact us. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the Service from a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will comply with applicable legal requirements to delete the information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Service or other appropriate means. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting the modified version (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). In all cases, your use of the Service after the effective date of any modified Privacy Policy indicates your acknowledging that the modified Privacy Policy applies to your interactions with the Service and our business.
